Refund Policy
At Verified Knowledge Press, we are committed to delivering genuine value. We want you to feel confident purchasing from us. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or adjustments may be requested for each of our products and services.
Books
Physical books (via Amazon or IngramSpark)
Physical book purchases made through Amazon or IngramSpark are subject to the refund and return policies of those platforms. We encourage you to review their policies before purchasing. We are not able to process refunds for purchases made through third-party retailers.
Digital books / e-books
Because digital books are delivered immediately upon purchase and cannot be "returned," we generally do not offer refunds on e-book purchases. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your purchase, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve it promptly — including providing a replacement file or, where appropriate, a refund.
Speaking Engagements
Cancellation by client, 14+ days before the event: Full refund of any deposit paid, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred (e.g. travel bookings made in advance)
Cancellation by client, 7–13 days before the event: 50% of the agreed fee is retained to cover preparation and opportunity cost
Cancellation by client, fewer than 7 days before the event: The full agreed fee is retained
Cancellation by Verified Knowledge Press: Full refund of any deposit or fees paid. We will make every effort to offer an alternative date
Rescheduling: We will accommodate one rescheduling request at no extra charge if made at least 10 days in advance
Cancellation by client, 10+ days before the session: Full refund, less any materials already prepared or printed
Cancellation by client, fewer than 10 days before the session: 50% refund. Materials costs, if already incurred, are non-refundable
No-show: No refund will be provided if participants do not attend a confirmed session without prior notice
Cancellation by Verified Knowledge Press: Full refund or reschedule at no extra cost
Workshops and Training
Publishing guidance is a phased service delivered over multiple months. Refunds are handled as follows:
Before Phase 1 begins: Full refund if you withdraw before any sessions have taken place
After Phase 1 has begun: A pro-rated refund may be offered based on the proportion of the engagement not yet delivered, at our discretion
Mid-engagement withdrawal: We do not offer refunds for completed phases of work. Refunds apply only to future, undelivered phases
We encourage all publishing guidance clients to discuss concerns with us before withdrawing, as we may be able to adjust the pace or format of our engagement to better suit your needs
Publishing Guidance
Consulting refunds are governed by the written agreement signed at the start of each engagement. In the absence of a specific clause, the following applies:
Work completed and delivered is non-refundable
Fees paid for future, unstarted work phases are refundable upon written request
Deposits are non-refundable once a project has commenced

To request a refund, email us at hello@verifiedknowledgepress.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
Your full name and email address used for the purchase or booking
The product or service purchased
The date of purchase or booking
The reason for your request
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 7 business days. Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method where possible.

Our goal is not to hide behind policy — it is to make things right wherever we reasonably can. Please reach out before escalating any dispute, and we will do our best to find a fair resolution.
